District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis was on Good Morning San Diego talking about the continued success of Chelsea’s Law in Sacramento. In the interview, she also discusses the need for re-entry programs and funding at the local level in the second half of the interview:

“We have to look at locking up the worst of the worst in state prison and dealing with those low-level, non violent, non-sex offenders so that we turn them around… for heaven sakes, if we’re going to let them out of prison we better have some monitorin out in the community and some opportunities to make those changes for rehabilitation…we partner with [Second Chance] on our re-entry progam, and it is a great program. Those are the kinds of things we need to do…it costs money though.”

Men’s Warehouse invites you to participate in the third annual National Suit Drive. When you donate your gently used professional attire at your nearest Men’s Warehouse during September, you’re giving more than clothing – you’re giving a second chance. And for every suit Men’s warehouse receives, it will donate a new dress shirt to the cause. Please, reach out to your community and help at-risk men make a good first impression at job interviews.
